由于其分布式CPU体系结构桥梁by virtual dual-port memory and a high-speed PCI backplane, PACMotion is said to deliver consistent performance and tight synchronization of all axes. Each PACMotion module controls up to four axes plus a master axis, and up to ten modules can be placed in a PACSystems RX3i rack for simultaneous control of up to 40 axes. Embedded diagnostic tools help ensure machine availability. The PACMotion is aimed especially at the needs of high-speed machines with a high number of synchronized axes typical of packaging, metalworking, assembly, printing and woodworking.
