CNC for Complex 3-D Machining

The MTX combines numerical control and an integrated, IEC 61131-3 compliant programmable logic controller with the VxWorks real-time operating system to maximize performance. The multitasking PLC executes 1,000 statements in less than 60 microseconds, while the CNC guarantees maximum interpolation time of 1 millisecond when controlling eight axes. The controller works with current Microsoft operating systems and uses a Microsoft .Net framework as the basis of its user interface and engineering environments.
